Title: Door Light

My door light don't work how they should. if the driver door is opened the light doesn't come on, but if the passenger opens it tboth lights come on. what is the order of these lights and can i set them because i think they worked fine untill my batt got disconected :(

Check the switch on the driver`s door pillar

Put headlights on,open drivers door,shoud hear a bleeping/alarm noise.if not have a play with door switch.until the alarm/bleep noise is there hth :y :y

When you open each door, the door light for that door should light up. Try cleaning the doors switches, the driver's is a double contact.  :y

when i open the drivers door the roof light turns on but the door light doesn't. i think this solves all the obvious things :)

As I said though, the driver's door has a double contact switch ie two switches  :y

One switch on the door, but if you take it out, you will see that there is a twin/double/two contacts in there. I don't KNOW that it your problem, but worth a look.  :y

thanx.. i'm on it tomorow and can you please tell me how to change the bulb in them?? one rear door has no light and i guess its burned out...

I'm sure they just prise out, I can't remember.  ::)

They slide,  I think towards the door pillars, don`t force them otherwise the clear lens comes away from the holder, then it`s a superglue job.

fixed the drivers light by cleaning the contact. the one behind has a good bulb but i can't figure out what is wrong. i cleaned his contact too but no result. it just won't light up. the roof light lights up when i open the rear door but the door light won't :(

At least you have fixed one fault!  :y  :y
Maybe you have a faulty wire leading to/from the door light ....  :-/

probably.. i will switch the contacts from one door to another and see if it is from that if not can anyone tell me  how to get the fascia out or how to check the wires??
