As per heading.
Does anyone know where the airbag light would suddenly come on for no reason ? :-?.
Got to work to day no problem, popped out at lunch break, no problem, then on way back to work, started car as per nomal, and the light came on.
Not worked on car for weeks, and not even touched the airbags. so stumpped by why it's taken to just switching itself on ?.

Ive found airbag light coming on and not staying on,to be alternator/battery fault.THe car shuts down systems when not enough power is available.its starts with airbag light then abs and so on hth charlie :y

Obvious answer is the system has detected a fault. Need a Decent reader (TechII, "My Naff Code Reader") to establish the problem

1. Doubtful it'll be the battery as the battery's new, so the alternator could be cause then on that point.
2. So who would have Tech2 nearest to me then please, and how much to plug in ?, as otherwise it's a stealer job if too far away ! :-? .
Would happen now wouldn't it, as only just bought some parts for mig to tart her up a bit !! ::)

Sorry should have went with Robs answer,my reply was more of a last resort after having system checked :-/
