If you mean the kit fitted to late Vectra C's, Astra H, Zaffira B etc etc then i'm afraid not. Basically any kit out of the later CAN equipped cars won't work.

I am still looking into if this is possible (when I get my CD70 back).  Whatever, it certainly won't be a straightforward swap.

I got a NCDC2013 and CID from a Vectra C if you want to have play with it TB.

Been sitting on the shelf since I aquired it, and then found out it was CanBus and not fit for the Mg.  :(

I realised after posting the link that the person creating the blog seems to be enthusiastic :y but groping around in the dark :(

I feel that anyone who is prepared to attempt something that big business would rather keep as a mystery is to be applauded. Sometimes the things that don't work (and the reasons why) are more illuminating than those that do so top marks for effort :y perhaps not such good marks for achievement :-/

The display will be the challenge, I still think its do-able on the later cars with the CAN link between ABS-ECU-Gearbox

Ignition supply is also a challenge, as its CAN on the CDXX series - you can apply a standard switched 12v but it will only give you 1 hour of operation.

 ;)

I may have a cunning plan...   ...it's as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning...

Thats something I will have to think about.  Maybe it wasn't quite that cunning....
