 can the ncdc 2013 radio be "reset"?

had to dig out the cd multichanger cartridge, remove discs and collapse.

the laser /driver is still in the middle of the unit preventing cd cartridge entry?

press and hold CLEAR for 8s. Doubt that will cure it though.  Likewise, fuse removal.  If that doesn't, guess you've done the mech...
