Don't think so, your car does not give obd codes.
Which poses the question what will read it?... :-/

No it won't read codes from a 98. Cheapest option is the laptop based one we can't talk about ;) But I'd be very wary messing with airbag lights using one of those. Best bet would be to find a close(ish) member with a genuine laptop based unit or a Tech2.

AFAIK, we still have 'Freedom of Speech' in the UK, so please - do tell!
(PM me if you prefer dude!) :y
-
yup, you have freedom of speech...
But no public discussion of obtaining pirate copies of "My Naff Code Reader" :y
the manufactures HAVE had sites shut down in the past :y
-
Aah, I see - fair play! :y
So does my 2.6 need Tech 2 to find out why the flippin' spanner light comes on and stops the sport mode from working and takes about 70 bhp away?
Done this in the last couple of days - no idea why! ::)
-
well, have you done the pedal trick for codes for starters?
After that a good code / live data reader such as tech2, "My Naff Code Reader", or others becomes handy :y
