I got a new headunit (Blaupunkt Rome) that has gps capability. Have to fit the antena but can't make up my mind where to mount it.
Don't fancy an outdoor mounting so it has to be inside the car.
Anyone mounted one of these in the car and if he/she did, where?
Obvious places are rear parcel shelf or dash.
If someone has a good idea I will gladly consider it.
Thanks in advance

Probably the easiest place is in the corner of the dash under the tax disc as you can tuck the cable in easily to get there.

When I retro fitted sat nav into both my omegas I stuck the aerial to the back screen, at the bottom in the middle. Hardly notice it.
Ran the wiring thru the edge of the parcel shelf then onto the sat nav unit. Had no problems with reception.

Carfix did you use anything to fix the antena to the shelf?

i'd go with Lincs Robert, front of the dash, near the tax disc. (passenger side) Thats where the GPS is mounted on mini-facelift :y

Hi Mathewst, I just used double sided tape. They are stuck to the bottom of the rear screen and not the parcel shelf. Been there over 8 years now and never budged
