Hello , c/locking not working on one door ? Thanks :o :'(
-
It's probably either a faulty solenoid or a fault with the wiring.
Does it work when the car is deadlocked (two presses of the lock button)?
By the way, does your internet service provider charge by the word?
-
Does the button even try to move? May be lucky and be able to lubricate it but, as said, probably either the solenoid or wiring
-
First thing to check would be for chaffed wires in the rubber umbilical where it passes from the car body into the door.
Open the door and look in-between the hinges, peel back the rubber trunking and check the condition of the wiring loom.
If that looks o.k. then it's a case of stripping down the door and checking for voltage at the solenoid connections, if you have voltage then try lubricating, as said, but chances are you need a new solenoid.
-
If you do get to the point of checking for power at the solenoid then be aware that you will need to operate the c/l whilst the circuit tester/meter is attached.

classic door lock solenoid failure, follow my guide...

...I know, I'm a knob sometimes, I can't seem to help myself.

By the way, I have two spare solenoids in the rear doors of my 1999 Omega... I guess they are the same as the front doors?
-
no they not but solonoids from corsas fit, the passenger front is 3 wire drivers side 6
-
Solenoids can be repaired easily too. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1275155915
