Should've negotiated the Car Pass into the buying price :y :y
When we bought SWMBO's Astra, the seller (trader) was quite sure the Car Pass was in the glove box & tried to fob us off with some other card that was there. I knew what I was looking for ...... Car Pass was there when we went back to collect ;) ;) ;)
Pity we didn't do the same thing when we bought the Smart :-? :-? :-? :-? :-[

Sorry, that's not what I wanted to imply, no offence meant and I hope non taken.
However, why pay for something that you can get for free! Especially when the stereo is cr :op anyway ;)
Just don't see why it has to be £25!
TBH if there is no way of getting it free or for a few quid I'll just replace it for an Ipod compatible one, which I am sure being Vx and Omega will not be easy!!

Hi -
Correct me if I'm wrong - but I think you can only decode one of those by dumping the bin file ? (or car pass of course)
(Is that right Dave ?)

We just plug them into our machine and it spits out the original code - no need to mess around with memory dumps - thats an option thats only ever taken by those who do not have the correct equipment to do it properly

Hi Dave
Thats kinda what i ment - Having to physicly interact with the unit rather than a software (remote) decode... form the units serial number.
Radio dont work -
£15 - Radio does work - "Simples!"
Sounds like a bargin to me !
Just like back in my old TV days.... the customer would allways tell me "I dont think it's much, just a loose wire"
As if the o'l jedi mind trick would magicaly reduce there bill....
Anyone down your neck of the woods re-gassing Plasma screens ;D

Yeah, I know what you mean, its not the loose wire they are paying for, its KNOWING WHICH loose wire will cause the problem that they are paying for, but they will only ever see it as a wire, and mine for picking a number or letter.
Not aware of anyone gassing Plasma`s down here, I`m rapidly finding out that they are not that advanced in this neck of the woods - Electricity is still failry new, and when I spoke to a customer teh other day, I said that I had an Internet shop, and his reply bemused me:
An Internet shop? Thats good, what time does it open?
:-X
