Title: Air con electrical problem

Hi there I have had a problem with my aircon since I got the car it's never worked at first I thought it was the pump as the pulley was slopping about so I've changed the pump had it gassed and still no joy I've put a circuit tester on the pump wire and no power I've tested the relay wires and I have power to them can I run a new wire from the relay to the pump and if so which one is it there are two relays a White one and a green one and which colour wire or number terminal would it be thanks

hi,
there should be a pressure switch in the wire from the relay to the compressor clutch, these have been known to stop conducting after some time....may be its is ok to try a test wire from the relay to the compressor clutch directly...if this works the pressure switch is faulty....it is not advisable to run the system like this...if you loose system pressure...you wreck the compressor...
