Title: Fusebox on top of the battery.
Post by: veesta on 18 August 2010, 22:33:54
Was looking at the fuse box the other day and saw some oxidation in some of the larger fuses. Don't like it, must clean it...

Any chance for damage if i disconnect the battery first and take the fuses out one by one for a quick clean on the contacts/metal bits?

Or should i just buy new ones and scrap the old ones?  :-X

I would clean the contacts, and then fit new fuses, myself.

I would also check the earth points, if you're getting corrosian.
