Title: Radio wont turn off !!!

Hello All
I  am fitting a new air con control panel , and I have to remove the radio to get to it
I was looking through the manual Re radio recode after removal and it says you need to turn radio off and press TP .
The problem I have is it wont turn off :-( .
Will this be a problem when i come to enter the code .

You could try holding the buttons down whilst turning the ignition on/off - may allow you to fool it into a code entry screen -

only one way to find out !!

you could take out/put back the fuse and maybe fooling it into thinking its switched off ...... or your actual on/off button is loose.. usually held in by two nuts. try tightening them down thus pulling the switch forward
