Title: Remote key fob

 :( Hi guys i only have one key to my mig and the fob has  given up the ghost on ispection it has been badly soldered and now doesnt work DLK told me that i could get a replacement fob from the main stealers for around £25.00 so went today only to be told that the fob is £36.45 for the fob then £34.99 on top for recoding then if i dont have the code ( havnt checked ) a further £30.00 plus the old vodka and tonic !!! So i am posting on here in the hope one of you guys can help with this issue ?? Thanks in antisipation rob :-[ :-[ :( :y :y

Hi Robbo,

have you tried AndyC on here,

he works in parts at a Vauxhall Dealer and does trade prices for OOF members...

You'll still need your Car Pass for the imobiliser code who ever codes the key/fob to your car.
Be thankful you're not getting a Mercedes key & fob coded, I've just been relived of almost £200 for a Smart key.  :'(

There's a guy on here who'll refurbish your old fob so its like new for a reasonable price. Cannot remember for the life of me what his alias is though. Someone here will know.
