Title: Wiring Looms
Post by: t-star on 02 September 2010, 17:20:06
Heres a question ??????

What are the differences on the core wiring loom between a CDX and an Elite ?????

For instance, rear sunblind, i know that the loom is there. are there any other major differences.

This question is related to facelift cars...

Standard looms, with the Elite models having extra added for the sat nav etc
My CD has wiring for most things.. i have extra plugs in the boot for the bose system and the rear blind, extra plugs under the front seats, wiring is the there for the heated rear seats..

Actually i wonder how far you could go upgrading it?? I believe the 2013 and 2015 stereo's cant be fitted...

THe bose wiring from kick panel to bose system is a different wiring loom all to together,i'm going to retofit a ncdc 2013 with satnav into my cd model this weekend, hope all goes well hahaha :y :y :ythe difference between elite and cdx wiring for the bose system is on a cdx the speaker wires go straight to the speakers and on an elite they go to the kick panel to join up with the bose system then to the speakers

The main difference is the extra seat/mirror loom in the elite, and the modifications for Bose

3.0/3.2 elites have slightly different wiring to accommodate satnav

Can the loom be added to a CD to retro fit the satnav and the stereo unit to go with it?
