Title: Central lock/Anti theft unit, Help!
Post by: olzz on 19 September 2010, 21:49:39
Hey!
I have one issue for electricians and diagnostics.
Central lock module(2001 Vauxhall Omega 2,2 2001, sedan) stopped working during last week.
Similar problem like in this conversation:

I have  tried 2 second hand ECU-s, both of them had the same issue.

Electrically none of 4 lock work. Hatch release button in the dashboard do not work. Internal light switch(together with front light switch) do not work. With keyfob I can open only the back latch, nothing more.

Anti theft module gives the following errors in OBD2:
50 Low battery voltage(checked the battery and voltage input for ECU, these were 12 V).
31 Central Door Locking Motor Driver Door Failure l(Switches seemed to be working in the moor mechanism, motor also worked with manually applied voltage)

Any ideas how to continue?

Fuses are checked.
When I connect the battery, all the motors click once. The Anti theft led in the dashboard lights for a sec and that is it. None of the lock motors run...
