Title: central locking

evening al
This is my first bit of help needed,,thanks
my drivers door solenoid doesnt work,,does anyone know the part number,otherwise i have to strip door panel,,,get replacement etc,,,if i have solenoid ready,it would be a lot easier

Central locking motors can be repaired if you are Ok with a soldering iron. :y

Yep, I have repaired two by replacing the micro switch using the "how to" guide.
Parts are readily available from RS components (and possibly Maplins).

Been a year since repair and both solenoids are working fine.

the central locking isnt working in mine, how can i tell whats causing it to fail, doesnt work from key, doesnt work from lock in car doors and doesnt work form the open/close alarm fob buttons .
