Title: Permanate live to radio. What colour?
Post by: moog on 09 October 2010, 11:25:40
Im trying to put a non standard stereo in my omega, all went well but i have no permanent live to the stereo. Anyone know which colour wire is the perm live to the block that goes into the original stereo?
I bought the proper kit to do it but everytime i take out the key the radio stations and so forth are back to nothing.

red & yellow usually need swapping round. Kits I've seen have had bullet connectors on these two wires to enable you easily swap them.

on 0mega, red is permanently live, whilst black is on with ignition. earth is brown and grey with a green tracer is the instrument backlights.
