indicators and hazards not working despite changing relay and fitting new stalk ,any other ideas please also just charged £34.71 for a relay is this rite at main dealer,

duff hazard warning switch?  :-/ :-/ on/off switch repeatedly sometimes help ......  :-/

The hazzard swithch if faulty or removed altogether will stop the indicators from working.

Do you have any local scrapyards near you? I do kindof make a point of always having a decent stock of fuses / relays / bulbs as they're the little things that can cause headaches! Always worth checking on here before going to a main stealer.

Also, Id second the motion that could be the switch. Good luck with the diagnosis andycab

If he wants to use the bay when the same part is on offer here and guaranteed to work I suppose that`s his perogative :-X ;D
