I turned mine off with my 'Cheapo Tech II' but when I asked about this last week, Entwood said that the ABS light had come on his(?) car after 'playing' doing wheel spins etc and the light went off on its own after a few miles of normal driving.

Take it for a spin ....... with your fingers crossed.  :y

Yep, often comes up on a rolling road when the ABS ECU can't comprehend the back half of the car doing 140 MPH while the front half is stopped. ;D

The light will clear given a few runs, I suspect. Stored code might remain but will cause no problems.
