Under my rear seat i have these 2 connectors which i presume are for the heated seat base

The flat connector has 4 wires to it,Green/ Brown, Green, White, Brown/White and the larger connector has 7 wires to it Brown, Black/White, Red, Black/White, Black, Black/Yellow, Black/Red and 2 unoccupied ports.

On the underside of the seat base are 2 connectors and they both have 2 wires to them, Brown and Black/Red. And by the base locks each side there is a twin cable with Brown and Black wires

The 2 cables by the base locks don't have any connectors on them, what do they connect to ?
What do i need to connect to get the rear seat heating to work ? Is there a flylead/loom missing that connects the 2 small connectors on the seat base to the flat connector with the 4 wires
All the wiring to the switches is present and all seems to be correct.

You're missing the relays and that part of loom. Though the cut wires on seat do not inspire confidence...

There are 2 Grey plastic boxes set in recesses in the foam if thats what you mean.
The cut wires still have part of the metal contact part of the connector attached but the spade itself and the plastic body part is missing on each.

nope, the relays sit in box section on the metal shelf part of base. The relay loom has the connector to connect to car loom, and connectors for the seat

Are the pre-facelift and facelift looms and relays the same ?

heres a brief couple of pics of the relay locations, the metal clips are attached to the relay bases.
Im wondering why they have been removed, possibly faulty rear seat element?

It's ex-plod but has all the wiring as far as the floor under the seat but the seperate loom for the relays and seat connectors is not there.
There's no sign of anything being cut out of the car loom or being used for other applications or having been altered in any way as far as i can tell.

Ex plod? Maybe one of the back seat passengers pulled the wires out while 'helping the police with their enquiries' ;D
Back in the workshop they would have unplugged the damaged loom (including the relays) and binned it.

I now have the part of the loom that was missing and i've connected it up but still no heat in the pads but i do have 12v if i put a meter across the 2 wires in the picture below (Brown and Black) Could these be for a fuse holder ?
The same 2 wires are present on the other side aswell, looks like a pair for either side.
If they are for a fuseholder, what size fuse should i use ?
