Title: Throttle not responding
Post by: davey_dublin24 on 20 November 2010, 14:35:06
right...
I had the cam covers off my 01 omega 2.6 v6 to do the gaskets...
Everything went back together great but when i started the car i had no throttle (car is Fly by wire)
Checked for faults P1500 came up
Posted on the general help and all said it was a loose mutiplug or a broken wire.
I have taken out the wiring loom and found two wires with damage ive snipped them back and rejoined all but still no throttle
Ive gotten in a new potensiometer and fitted and still the same!!!
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this or can help me in any way?

Hmm. P1500 is throttle control motor.

I would try cleaning the throttle body and ensuring the throttles can move freely in the first instance. Make sure the connector is secure and perhaps give it a clean.

Thanks Kevin,
Turns out that there might be damage to the earth or there is no earth.I have to strip the car and have a look over all wires again
