Title: Courtesy Light Wiring - Facelift Elite

I want to wire some Footwell LEDs to the Courtesy Light on my Omega Facelift (With Sunroof). So when I use the keyfob to unlock the car, the LEDs come on and light up the footwell area. Then gradually fade out again.
(But this also mean they will come on every time I open the door? or turn the courtesy light on?)

Is there a guide to which wires I need to wire the+ve and -ve wires of the LEDs to?
And one that shows how to take the Courtesy Light assembly apart to get to the wiring?

LED's won't fade, they will just switch off.

OK - switch off is fine also.
Any ideas?

Just splice into the puddle light wiring.
