Hi all,
I have put some heated front seats in my GLS and some rotary switches in the dash to match, and these light up ok when turned on.
But, the wiring between switches and seat connectors do not appear to be present. Can any kind soul please tell me where I might find it, or will it be a waste of time looking on a GLS spec car. :'(
Also, is it an easy run from switch to seat? Only a pair of wires to each seat after all.
Many thanks. :y

If the plugs are anywhere they will be under the trim between the seat and the door. This just slides forward to remove it.
What model are the new seats from?
If facelift, (poss mini f/l) with electric height adjustment, side airbags and pre tensioners then you should have had to unplug the wiring to remove the old seats, the new ones would then plug in to the existing plugs.
If the new seats don't have side airbags then they are not compatible.

Thanks for replies. :y
Put the seats in some time ago and all air bags and pre-tensioners wiring was connected ok, with no issues. Just the seat heaters would be the icing on the cake, but seems the wiring is not present in the sills or anywhere obvious. The wiring loom all seems to go to the front footwell, and either feeds from the dash from above or goes under the carpet.
Too cold at the moment to fiddle about much. :(
May have get creative later.....Thanks again. :y

in this cold weather you could temporarily wire the drivers seat with a lead to the fag lighter, and just plug it in when you need it. put an inline fuse in tho.
