What temp should the radiator electric cooling fan cut in at? It's not for my 3.0 Elite, it's for my mates 2.5CDX, he reckons the fan never cuts in. We did try last weekend but it was so flipping cold I'm not surprised it didn't cut in! Any ideas? Is the top switch on the rad the fan one? Should be able to remove the plug and short the terminals to prove, yes? Thanks for any help.

Some while back there was a post with a link to a way of testing all the fans by means of "jumping" the contacts in the aux fuse box (the triangular one by the battery) ... but I can't find it .. :(
If you need to change the switches this is the how-to ..

Chaps,
Just to let you know, did the tests with the printout supplied, proved the fans all work, found one fuse blown, replaced and all seems to work now :) Just got to fix his heater now!
