Title: Alarm going off

The alarm on my 2003 2.6 goes off  ( after locking using key fob ) about 5-10 mins after setting, but only when parked on my drive which is a downward slope. On level and when parked on a slope withn the nose up, she is fine. Any ideas please folks ?  Thank you.

The bracket for the bonnet switch often gets slightly bent leading to nuisance alarms.

I wonder if parking downhill makes it worse  :-/
