Title: Key fob buttons
Post by: omegabsw on 09 February 2011, 11:54:27
Really rubbish the 3 button Omega keys.

I have had countless Vauxhalls over the years and these are by far the worse key fobs I have known.

I have 2 facelift Omega's with 4 keys between the 2 of them and all the buttons on all 4 of the keys have collapsed  >:(

He replaces the surface mounted buttons but I'm sure he doesn't do the cases.

but the cases are available from eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Vectra-Zafira-3-button-Remote-Key-Fob-case-/250767908141?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a62ee9d2d

Not too hard to replace if you are good with the soldering gun, if you're not better leave it to Martin

the rubbers normally go not long after the switches due to users pressing em extra hard to get em to work  :y
