General consensus on here is to get one from Dave DND. It's 35 quid, but it seems to get all round thumbs up from OOFers :y
I'm sure someone will post up a link! :y

Yeah. Main benifit is that it is hidden and permanent. it does look good tbh.

I've got a Griffin iTrip Auto(?)... Not too bad when in the UK, although ideally needs to be plugged into the rear cig lighter. Biggest downside is that it invariably needs tuning every time >:(
This one I think http://www.amazon.co.uk/Griffin-Ga22042-Transmitter-Charger-iPhone/dp/tech-data/B0043M5Y7A/ref=de_a_smtd

Tell a lie... This is the one I've got and it's not compatible with iPhone which I got 3 months later ::) ::)

I have a iTrip, which works, though I've had better results from dave dnds one, despite its very limited frequencies

This was my concern, especially with the September road trip. Switzerland and Northern Italy were a complete nightmare as there were no completely "quiet" frequencies :o We went through every single one manually a couple of times >:( >:(

I use one from tescos, not as good as Dave DNDs , but only about £13, plugs into the bottom of your Ipod and has a charger lead to plug into the cigarette lighter point. Its good enough for me , so it charges the IPOD.
Hope that helps
Ploppy :y :y

I purchased an add on dab receiver with a wired FM transmitter which I play through my head unit. It has an input for an aux in which I dont use, my stereo has an SD card slot for my music but it should work well with an IPOD. I purchased it for £26.00 excluding DAB aerial from Dabonwheels the aerial was actually more expensive than the DAB unit, I think now its £29.00 but still a bargain. The clarity is great and the DAB is awesome as well.

itrip had one for years it's very good

I bought and tried two different FM TX's for my MP3 player and they were awful.
Eventually after speaking to Unlucky Alf on here ( Tim :y) I got this one ,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-MP5-MP4-MP3-Player-FM-Transmitter-USB-2-4-LCD-2GB-/370452031277?pt=UK_CE_MP3Access_RL&hash=item5640a9672d
Must be two years ago now and it works very well .
Software is compatible with Windows Media Player .
I ditched the power supply cradle which leaves the player stand alone ,connected it to a Belkin PSU and added a 4gb card which has about 55 CD's on it so far . I have the same dash mount in the other cars so it's fully transferable & it also simply unclips for stowage when parked.
The sound quality through the standard van speakers is actually better than the CD player and the clarity of the sound is surprisingly good.
Maybe seems cheap and cheerful but it does the job and more .
