Title: Help! installing multichanger

Ive got a new CD Multichanger, ive plugged it in but it wont send the signal to the cd player. i have the codes for both but it doesnt even say about putting them in. When i press the cd button it says "no cdc"

Any help would be aprichiated.

did the old and new part numbers match exactly?

there are at least 3 incompatible 'cdc 2' models

Didnt have the old part number as the previous owner removed the old multichanger.

I count 11 versions of CDC2  !!
NOT all cross compatable

 :'(

ive got "CD-CODE" coming up on the head unit display but no where to enter the code.... same problem
