Title: orange light

i have a 2.2 gls x reg, on the little screen under the radio read out screen an orange light sometimes comes on it has a circle with two half moons either side, any idea wat it is ???

has it got an ! in the circle - hand brake on
has it got abs in circle something wrong with abs (brakes)

I think that's the front brake pad wear indicator light. Could be worn pads or broken wire to pad wear sensor. Almost impossible to change pads without breaking the sensors iir.

Depends if it's started to where through. I've just replaced pads & kept the old sensors.  ;)
