Bonnet alarm switch...top L/H corner of first pic....disconnect

If alarm still activates...disconnect powersounder

Give the instrument panel a push to make sure it`s seated firmly.

Replacement fob only, on E-bay

Just unplug the connector @ the switch, or you can leave connected and just bend the switch bracket upwards see if that stops the alarm

Prevents false alarms.....and if in-built batteries are leaking.....prevents self-combustion :o

1-the plunger should be depressed when the bonnet is shut, therefore creating an open circuit, when the circuit becomes closed that is when alarm sounds, so either make sure it is being depressed or as rob says disconnect it, just a plug  :y
if this fails to work more investigation is needed  :y
2- check plug connections are seated correctly, take the dials out and unclip and refit if pushing it didnt do anything http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1192573381

I'd put money on it NOT being the alarm.

PowerSounder ! Catches us all eventually.

Drivers side, tight under the scuttle.

You'll soon find out. Omegas like to give you a false sence of security THEN blast off around 3am to see how much the wife of the house can yell at you so early.

no its an aftermarket one.

Quite possible that the SVC (speed dependant volume)connection in the ISO plug is being shorted out by an incorrect connection to an aftermarket stereo - would certainly kill the speedo !!

finally got round to unplugging the powersounder, alarm bleeped for about  2 seconds, because of a faulty keyfob i can only open the doors manually when i do this the hazards start flashing as if ive set the alarm off - is this normal??
