is the car battery flat? Unless someone has changed your door lock without you knowing ;), you can unlock the door form the driver's door. As it seems as though you now have a flat battery, your central locking isn't doing the work and you'll have to mechanically unlock the driver's door lock. The button won't pop up though.

thats waht im saying im manually trying to open it but still it wont open. it was working lastnight, if the battery is flat how do i get the bonnet open to change the battery - sounds like its gonna get expensive lol
-
Have you forced the key past it`s point of resistance :question
-
i just used normal force to start with, put some wd 40 on wiggled it turned it past its point of resistance still nowt. the button on the inside moves ever so slightly

As Rob says, just turn the key ...... Hard! It'll take some force to turn it, but it will. :y
just read the other two similar threads over the last few days. ::) ::)

Keep turning it.
It'll open [smiley=evil.gif]

yeah
if you turn the key hard enough it WILL unlock, it just doesn't pop the button on the door though.
If you can't manage it you'll have to apply 12 volts to the starter motor connections under the car.
-
can you walk me through the starter way ?? where on the starter do i attach the leads
-
just turn the key in the lock, it will open just put a lot of pressure on it.
-
no need, it opened . car started straight away so i doubt its the battery. while i was in the car the central locking locked me in, is that a sign of trouble??
-
Sounds like your central door locking solenoid on the drivers door is about to / or has failed
Easy to replace though
