Hello, does anyone know if there is a spare audio output from the 2013? The idea is to take a feed from it as I have an amp and sub lying around, and desire a rounder sound, not in a chavvy way though. thanks

No spare output i'm afraid.

Doh! Saved myself a few hours there then! Thanks

You can always add one of these across your rear speaker outputs to give you the RCA signal required for your amplifier - these are the better ones with the ground loop isolator built in.

Don't think that will work if the OP has Bose :-/

It's for the elite so Bose. Thanks anyway!

You could try connecting at the rear of the head unit speaker outputs, a that wouldn`t affect the loading of the BOSE amp
Would sound awfull though, as BOSE already has an adequate subwoofer.

far too soft bass though, needs to be punchy and tight

You will struggle to get that with the BOSE system running in the background, it will sound very unbalanced, as the rest of the speakers will give the "lazy" sound attributed to the BOSE.
Rip it all out and start again really is your best option.
