Title: Radio reception
Post by: Glassback on 13 May 2011, 19:48:35
How can I improve the radio reception on my face lift cdx diesel. I believe there is a Ariel booster somewhere in the car, can anything be done to improve its performance?

Ditch the internal aerial and retro fit an external one.

The roof mounted GSM aerial if fitted can be easily swapped over for a better performing combination GSM / FM antenna.

Still on the case with that one . .

The two suppliers I used to use for Hirschmann aerials have both gone belly up - Also Blaupunkt got taken over and the new distributors don`t yet know their arse from their elbow either - I`ll keep trying though.
