				As above, i have changed the alternator today and the battery  light is on , even when the ignition is off??????? 
 I guess the alternator is u/s but any ideas before i get my original reconned and kick off with the pikey that sold it to me???

				have you check the earth cable is tightened and clean? :y

				Sorted just encase anyone has the same problem and searches for the same words The alternator i bought was ducked ! Got mine re conNed for 15 quid. And cost me 30 to get both fitted and the belt changed :-) angry message on ebay Will be sent next then a pay pal claim

				and extra bonus , the maf aint knackered turns out it was the rubber part of the ram pipes :-)

				till i get fed up lol . Wont be bad when i am touring as we stay in nice hotels , just Not so good for time off . Think i Will get fed up sooner than later lol
