Title: aftermarket stereo

im putting a new dvd unit into my 1998 elite.i know i have to change all the speakers and the amp but i dont have to change the wiring do i???? im probably having a blonde moment but i have read the posts on here and noone has mentioned the wiring. :D

iirc the wiring should be ok but you will need and ISO adaptor for the head unit.

I'm sure Dave DND will let you know the part you need  :y

Power and speaker blocks should be fine with the exception of the permanent and ignition lives that need to be swapped over. (usually red and yellow, and often on bullets to make it easier)

If you have no external amp, you need to modify the wiring as well. Easiest done with a minifacelift CD Changer loom.
