Maybe / probably

A T reg is the later 4 channel setup
the R reg MV6 is probably mini facelift, and therefore compatible.

are they the same engine size / gearbox type?  if not that can be changed via tech2

any earlier and it wont be though.

who did the diag...and what are the symptoms as well?

if everything works....id be interested in more info....its not the classic failure.

Id be wanting to see live data if poss, are all sensors reporting as they should.

any engine or gearbox codes?

the abs dosnt work, what do you mean when you say wnt to see live data? im a bit new to modern vauxhalls with all the electronics after years of driving mantas and asconas so forgive me if i seem a tad thick when it comes to modern technical stuff.

A tech 2 session with MarkDTM would be your best way to get definitive answers to your questions. Hes in your neck of the woods. :y

Live Data is the procedure of using a good diag computer to see what each of the sensors attached to an ecu is actually reporting.

Lots of people do have to replace their ABS ECU's, but its not a fun job, and you dont have the classic failure symptoms.

As Albs has said if your Nottingham way, a trip to Mark DTM in West Bridgeford, will confirm what the problem really is.  (He may be without decent connection for a couple of days, so be patient)
