Hello.
Yesterday I've got my Omega (Opel). It's a dark blue 3.2 V6 from 2003.
I did my first long travel with it and came out of the car with a big smile, but there is something I didn't like that much, and can't find a solution in the manual.
I used the board computer the whole trip in order to check fuel economy (which is actually very good in the highway), but the BC apparently can only work if the NCDC 2015 is on, so I did the whole trip with a radio station sounding and the volume set to zero.
Question is, is there a way (other than setting sound to zero) to have the head unit on (so I can use the BC and sat nav functions) without any sound coming from it (i mean, no tuner and no CD)?
TIA

Just turn the volume to zero. The Sat Nav will make announcements at the pre-set volume.
Without the Head unit on you won't have anyway to control the screen on this setup.

Thanks, VXL.
The phone behaves the same way? It has its own volume preset as well?

Telematics? Yes it is at a preset volume but adjustable further with the volume control.

Nice. Thanks.
