[size=18]Hi can someone please tell me what kind of computer display is in my 1996 omega elite and can i just change it If so has anybody got one please[/size]  :o[/b]

Early MID`s are prone to pixel failure, hard to source another in good nick. You need one from same model & spec and obviously with the same connector at the rear

The pre 1998 ones are unreliable.

The later, reliable ones have a different plug on the back, so would need a bit of rewiring...

Thanks for your help would have replied sooner but been very busy I found another but unfortunatley it doesn't light up @ all.
Back to the drawing board.

are you sure its not just the 4 lamps in the back have blown?
most people dont notice 1, 2, or 3 have gone, until the last one goes too.

definitely.. I'm on the second one and the second also start dead pixels , either go for the new one (and do some rewiring -I hope someone can help-) or ignore..
