Just about visible in this photo.
(it is the shiney metal block in the centre of the photo with lots of hydraulic brake pipes going to it)

right hand side of the engine, ...
You mean the left hand side. All left or right is when you're sat in the car.
And this assumes it's the same side of the car as our right hand drive cars. :-/ :-/

Thanks guys
I am interested only electronic units for TC, location, and not the ABS hydraulic block :y
-
The electronics for TC are part of the ABS ECU, which is attached to the ABS unit.

As TB says its all one unit, and difficult to replace! (access is problem)
What are you issues? Speedometer not working? ABS light on? Might be worth cleaning the sensors to start with, then go from there. Its a lot easier :y

LHD will have it the other side I suspect. Pre 1998 ABS/TC ECUs are very reliable, although the TC function isn't as good as later ones.

I really wanted the TC omega installed in calibra, but not how I see the same system as in Cali V6 where the ecu for the abs and tc separated
I have yet to take off with cali V6 :question :'(
