Is it a straight swap to replace 2006 with 2008, as long as you have steering wheel controls and the seprate screen?

Nope, 2008 has different screen, plus a wiring mod is needed

Not too bad to do, but 2008 has all the same problems as a 2006, and adds plenty more of its own ;D
