Title: CCR2006 to NCDC2013 upgrade
Post by: twiglet on 22 August 2011, 22:55:51
This would be in 2002 2.2 CDX. I've got the HU and GID, plus the aerial for the GPS.

Is it then just a case of old HU + screen out, new HU + screen it? Or does the wiring harness have to be changed to suit?

TIA  :y

Aye, minor mod to TM loom.

IIRC the minimum you can get away with is Headunit pin 32 to display unit 10 and head unit pin 33 to display unit pin 11.

Obviously you will need to remove the existing pin 10 and 11 connections and tape them out of the way. I think you also have to remove pin 9 as well, though I haven't got my document to hand at the moment.

Albs - thats the CAN I was talking about in PMs :y

Also, on the screen, you need to connect pin 1 to pin 34 if ever you want to run any diagnostics on it.

Possibly. ::) :D..........thing is, my 2013 may well be in full working order now. Swapping the board with TB,s has cured the problem of no sound. :) But without plugging it and its paired screen into a fully Bose enabled setup, I dont know.
Unless of course that gobbledegook Tb was talking a couple of posts previously is a way of avoiding that. :-/
