Title: 2005 to 2006

can anyone tell me if the 2006 audio will fit as a straight swap for the 2005 i currently have fitted, the 2006 is from my previous omega cdx, and wasnt coded so my next question is will i need a code to put the 2006 in my new omega...sorry to be a pain with what might sound like silly questions but wanna make sure the motors right and im not messing things up.....cheers fellas  :)

firstly you will need the cage for the 2006, the 2005 cage is different  :y
secondly if the 2006 was decoded in your other car then shouldnt need recoding when replacing  :y

what is wrong with your 2005??? because i am looking for one or a 2006  ;)

ok thanks for that i guess i best start looking for a cage then.....any ideas where i might be able to find one, might just have to resort to that well known auction site hahaha...thanks again :y

sorry mate i must have been half asleep when i read ur post hahaha, there is nothing wrong with it just like the idea of the 4 disc magazine rather than the single disc thats all, if your interested in the 2005 when i have changed over just let me know, we arent too far away from each other so im sure we could sort something out  :y
