... and which you're there they'll do doubt find another load of things that don't need doing. It's dangerous enough letting them loose on tyres let alone brakes.

I went there once for new front tyres.  When I got the car back the brand new alloys were all really badly damaged. (Scratched and scuffed all the way around) >:(

I complained and they bought me new ones.

When I went to collect them they were also badly damaged, I don't know how?

NEVER EVER go there! :-[

`Would never go to Quick Fit again; I went there for an oil change whilst `working away from my home-base...they managed to overtighten and crack the aluminium lug on the oil filter cover in my V6 and left it leaking (without telling me what they`d done)....I spotted it later that day and went back to speak with the manager, only to be told (patronisingly):

"it wasn`t their fault, as it had already been leaking when I arrived there"
....which it most certainly was not!  >:(

I had to get replacement filter-cover myself.....and wrote letters of complaint to the chairman of Q.F; but didn`t even get a reply to either.

I now know the score with regards to Q.F`s (ahem) 'services'...`Nuff-said!

Got to i work there. :(

But i do agree with you all   most of the fitters in most of the centers are useless tw*ts and couldnt correctly fit a greasy stick up a monkeys arse.

There are a couple of good ones just dont ask me where ;D

A few years back Rachel went to Twitfit (long story) & had her brakes serviced.
After a day or so she noticed her fluid was getting low so went to the garage where she has car MOT'ed, they'd only gone & left a bleed nipple undone. She carries three kids around too  >:( >:( >:( >:(
I wanted to go & knock some heads together, but she wouldn't let me  :(
That's why i do as much as i can myself  :y

There are only two things I dont do myself on my car......windscreens and tyres.

And every time I get either of these jobs done they break it up.

3 attempts to fit a windscreen and 2 attempts to balance the wheels properly!

I think the main problem is they have such a high staff turnover so they always have numpties instead of qualified older staff who care about what they do.
Ive been working for them since i left school (dont ask me why) and seen hundreds of staff come and go as soon as we get a good one they leave for better money.   Its not that kwikfit are crap its the staff as kf do give high standards of training

Sorry about the bad comments about your workplace.  I think it is the management to blame.  Lack of training, high staff turnover, poor pay, too many jobs.... all those sorts of things.  It's obviously not a reflection on any individual. :-*
