Title: LPG Tank size
Post by: Paulus on 02 March 2008, 20:45:42
Today, I finally got my arse in to gear and started to fit the LPG tank in the boot. I bought it second-hand and the geeza told me that it came out of an Omega estate...so I presumed that it would fit. WRONG!!! It's about 150mm...too long.

I have measured 940mm is about the longest the tank can be behind the seats. Does anyone agree/disagree with this?

70L tank......should go in easy   :-?

Norm is 80L tanks for omega saloons.......tho i have been told you can squeeze a 100L in there.

Only thing i can think of its an odd shape......longer than normal (ie radius is smaller)

Whats the make of the tank?

i have a 70l in there and there is enough room up one side of the tank to get a couple of laptops bags in.

i have seen a 100l in there and that looks cosy  :o

You're not telling me what I want to hear. Tell me that I'm a tw*t and it does actually fit and that I can't use a tape measure  :'(. Please.
