Correct, its either a 99 car at the latest (its mini facelift), has a private plate or is a ringer!

The price methinks! 1999 pre-facelift Omega's don't normally command that sort of wedge.

Did wonder why it was an 03 plate. Manufactured in Isle of Man apparently. No doubt done some speed then!

this has been covered before but i cant be bothered digging out the thread

i saw a 1999 bmw (older shape) on an 02 plate, there are 4 1988 mercs with X reg plates floating about round britain too

Correct, the same one I looked at.  Its a 1999 and first registered, apparently, in I of Man then imported into the mainland registration system circa 2002/3.  DVLA have mistakenly issued an 03 plate rather than a 1999.  Any buyer will, when he receives his new logbook, find the vehicle reregistered with an age related plate.  Seller is aware and obviously unwilling to get it correctly plated.  DVLA cannot do anything at the moment as its 'in trade' and therefore have to await arrival of logbooks before acting.......
