SWMBO is getting excited and wants to come with to pick up the skateboard. It's 4+hrs there by bus or train, and then 2.5hrs back in the car. She wants to stop every hour in the miggy, this could be very interesting! :o :'(

are you expecting sympathy? ;D

You could be too exhausted to drive back.

Stretch, toilet, coffee . . . she grew up with an hour being a very long drive. Almost killed her with a 12hr drive last summer!
Gonna make sure that she takes the iPod and noise cancelling earphones. The skateboard 'talks' to you quite a bit. ::) ;D

Whatever you get up to, Theo, take it easy and get back safe and sound.

Cheers. The drive home is always risky! I'm not going to be pushing it though. Desperate for a service and not handling correctly.

i ALWAYS do the collection trip on my own, it doesn't get discussed in our house.
Reason being if there are jobs that uncover themselves on the way home they can be 'glossed over' and she then doesn't get to see as many issues (if there are any at all)
