hi all. have been considering gettin lpg fitted due to miles i travel (4183 in feb) and the amount of fuel used ( 171 GALLONS). was just wondering what the pros and cons are. the only con i can think of is the loss of boot space due to extra tank. any advice is very much welcome. thanx :)

Your costs would go down, but you'd be filling up all the time! Maybe get a Diesel?

I would defo go for LPG with your millage!
You would get the install costs back in a matter of months, only issue is you would be filling up quite a lot, how many LPG stations are around you way? hopefully one local?
There is one 1/2 mile away from me, but i don't do the miles to justify LPG, i do about 400 a month!

Get it converted / convert it ASAP I pay about £17-£18 a week in gas and I do about 160 miles a week (21mpg).
It saves a fortune though when towing

Umm. Towed a "portable" (1.7 tonne) 100ft radio tower for a radio club outing at the weekend. Whole tank of petrol gone in 270 miles thanks to the 17MPG it returned towing. :o
