Hi guys was getting ready 4 tomorrows meet in oxford,then just as was topping up oil, the the bloody wife calls >:( and distracts me. You can guess what happens next 2 MUCH OIL :-[.
About 1/4 inch above max mark and making a low pitched whooring noise when i rev Gently ! and remove foot from gas. Could anyone please tell me whats in the the centre of drain plug.. Allen key or Spline and what size cheers..
Oh 2000 3ltr MV6 man new shape.. I really want 2 make the meet. :y

If it's not a Hex, it will be a Torx, not sure which size T45?. :-\

A mate of mine had a sump plug rounded off, came undone with a blunt chisel. ::)

Ive used mole grips in an emergency before . ;)

YIPEEE ; Quick update GUYS just found a 7 piece Franklin set of Torx,I have T30,T40,T45+T50,but its in 3/8 will that be meaty enough, or should I heat it with me Rothenberger :-\ bearing in mind you could eat your dinner of the bottom of my sump ;D

It should do it, unless it was tightened by some Gorilla wearing Vauxhall overalls. ::)

Shouldn't be too tight mate - its a fairly low torque to tighten :y
