Hi guys. I've just bought my first miggy today and a good one. The trouble is i've been cleaning it all day and when i've been to start it all the lights come on but it just wont start. Is it simply the battery is flat or could their be more to the problem? Its been sat for a month and it appears to be the original battery on the car from new because their is no sign of a change in the service history. Would appreciate your replies etc
thanks Marc

If you look in the Maintenence Guides section, there is a post by Kevin Wood about checking alternator and battery. Its worth reading through that :y
-
sounds like you flattened the battery with the doors being open tbh.

get a jump start or charge your battery. If it's been sat a month the battery will probably have been a little flat anyway, and cleaning it all day you'll have had a door or 3 open for long periods with the courtesy lights on. Charge the battery or get it started & go from there. :y

Good point. It looks like I may have dont that. It was filthy but have managed to make it pristine. I think its the original battery so could be due a new one. No sign of a bill for one but i'll see if it works again.
