Title: will 2. Diesel run on veg oil?

Hi guys

I am looking to buy a diesel estate and as I had an Omega before I liked I thought I would try an Omega diesel.  In my price range its a 2.5 TDi model, the 2.2 seems too expensive for me.  I wondered what experiences people have running them on veg oil as I'm not sure 35 MPG is going to be economical enough for me on real diesel LOL

I think its causes pump and hose issues, some others may be able to advise better though
