Anyone else had this done?? how beneficial is it as i have 5 more sessions

Been toying with the idea of ordinary acupuncture for migraine for a while.
Not heard of electro acupuncture though, whats it to treat? Be interested to see if it helps you.

supposed to loosen the muscles which are tensed. they put small crocodile clips on the needles and send a pulsating electric current through it. felt nice while the current wasn't too high. told me it would take a few times to sort thee pain out but does not work for everyone. i feel a bit stiff now as she said i would for 24hrs after. in your case ljay may be worth your while if nothing else has helped. if was me i would at least go and see how ot goes the first time. just hope it turns out ok for you and you get rid of that awful illness.

Richie..... ask about a TENS machine.... it's the same principle, but doesn't require needles.... a bit like those "slimming without exercise" electro-muscular pad kits....
it vaguely helped me out a few years ago.... ( I broke my neck in '89, so have ongoing spinal issues,.... to add to my fun )

she mentioned that max. said see how this is with me first.its another option. :y

Richie give a TENS machine ago..some are quite expensive but a cheepie one will sort you out...as for acupuncturei did try when i did my foot in and it did help...mind you the night after i had the best nights sleep...the bit that was when they spun the needles around :y

Not a big fan of TENS. They simply exchange one pain for another in my opinion.

I tried acupuncture for a frozen shoulder a few years ago, to be honest did not really help so went for the injection which sorted it overnight.... :)

i had 3injections in the muscles in my neck and shoulders in may. i nearly passed out but 5mins later all pain had gone and still ok now. its just the muscles at my waist that are the problem. she did tell me plenty of sex would help so any female members want to help put will be appreciated. ::) :)
